Pete Volwater...

In the evening I had an awesome surf session at one of the perfect pointbreaks in this area. Again Tappo told me where to go and that I would find glassy perfection. He was right and for one hour the spot was mine. Although it was a bit spooky to sit in the lonesome line up I enjoyed the perfect lef till dusk. Later on everybody came to Qs’ house for a big cooking session and we had a look at the footage from the day.

... and Pete again.

Monday 03.Feb.03
The next morning the wind was starting to work and our local guide Tappo (Justin Tapson) showed us the way down to a beach with pretty nice conditions. We decided to run some trial heats and everybody was hot to get their gear ready and jump
into the water. Although the winds were not strong enough to go radical the boys ‘n girls on the water had some good fun and ripped the waves.
