Due to the fact that everybody was happy with the results from
the last day we decided to have another day of freesailing taking
some more water footage and just having fun again.
In the evening the local football club was the place to be. The
Smackfest Challenge presentation with bands and beer and barbeque.
Again the whole district showed up and everybody talked about
the event and was stoked to be a part of it. Most of the competitors
would leave the other morning so it also was time to say good
bye. During the last couple of days completely different people
with some similar attitudes towards surfing and wavesailing had
become friends and most of us will come back next year to keep
up the new Smackfest spirit - the Spirit of Wavesailing. I am
lucky to be one of them.
